Forum Guidelines
Making the most of the ENFP Discussion Forum
Welcome to the ENFP Discussion Forum!
This forum has been created to encourage collaboration, peer learning and knowledge exchange among members of the European Network of Focal Points (ENFP). Whether you are looking for advice, sharing experiences or discussing topics related to the implementation of the 2003 UNESCO Convention, we hope this space will support meaningful dialogue and mutual learning across the network.
These guidelines are intended to help keep discussions welcoming, organised and useful for everyone.
Start Meaningful Discussions
Create discussions with clear, descriptive titles and provide enough context so that other members can easily understand your question or contribution.
Search Before Posting
Before opening a new discussion, take a moment to browse existing topics. Your question may already have been answered, helping to keep information organised and avoid duplicate discussions.
Choose the Right Category
Each forum has a specific purpose. Posting in the appropriate category helps other members find information more easily and keeps discussions well organised.
Contribute to the Community
Share experiences, ask questions, exchange resources and support fellow members. Every contribution helps strengthen the ENFP network.
Before Creating a New Topic
Before posting a new discussion:
- Browse the existing topics to see whether your question has already been answered.
- Use a clear and descriptive title.
- Choose the most appropriate forum category.
This helps avoid duplicate discussions and makes information easier to find.
Writing a Good Post
When creating a topic or replying to another member:
- Be as clear and specific as possible.
- Provide context when asking a question.
- Include links or references where appropriate.
- Use meaningful titles (for example: Question about Periodic Reporting – Inventorying Chapter rather than simply Help!).
This helps avoid duplicate discussions and makes information easier to find.
Share Knowledge
The forum is a collaborative space.
We encourage members to:
- share experiences from their own country;
- provide examples of good practices;
- recommend useful resources;
- ask questions;
- support colleagues whenever possible.
Every contribution is valuable!
Keeping the Forum a Safe Space
One of the main objectives of the ENFP Discussion Forum is to provide a safe and trusted space where members can openly exchange ideas, ask questions, discuss challenges and share experiences related to the implementation of the 2003 Convention.
To support this, access to the Members Space and Discussion Forum is restricted to ENFP members. All registrations are reviewed and approved by the ENFP Steering Committee before access is granted. The forum is also moderated to help maintain respectful, constructive and relevant discussions.
Creating a trusted community, however, is a shared responsibility. We kindly ask all members to:
- Respect the confidential nature of ongoing discussions and internal exchanges.
- Avoid sharing sensitive information unless you have the appropriate permission to do so.
- Do not share forum content, screenshots or discussion links with people outside the ENFP without prior authorisation from the Steering Committee.
- Help preserve the Members Space as a place where colleagues feel comfortable asking questions, sharing experiences and seeking advice.
If necessary, the Steering Committee may edit, move or remove posts that do not comply with these Forum Guidelines or the Code of Conduct in order to maintain a respectful and constructive environment.
Together, we all play a role in ensuring that the ENFP Forum remains a trusted space for collaboration, peer learning and mutual support.
Enjoy the Discussion!
Every question, experience and resource shared through this forum contributes to a stronger and more connected network.
Thank you for helping us build a welcoming, collaborative and trusted community.
See you on the forum!
